*kisses* hils!!!
Ohhhkay! So FIRST off I want to say SORRY! I have been SO crazy busy and this is just ANOTHER thing I have to add to my list of things I'm responsible for!!! It should come as a higher priority because you guys are my bestest buddies but whatever. I'm working on it. My mother has decided that I should only get two hours of computer time a day :( it sucks. A lot. BUT I just got back from CAAAMP and that was OODLES of fun OMG my camp buddies ARE SO FREAKING AWESOME!!! Holy cow. Seriously. They're nearly as cool as you guys AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING! There was this one kid, Sean, (extremely cool, very nice, very funny, from NY and hates Bush ALMOST as much as I do! So as you can imagine we got along VERY nicely) and he goes to the FAME! school! For those who have seen the movie. AND if you've heard of that new movie with Antonio Banderas called, 'Take The Lead' its about this guy who goes into inter-city schools in New York and teaches the kids to ballroom dance! Well, Sean is really in that program. I got to see him dance and he's PHENOMENAL! His instructor was also at the camp, funny enough, and we had one night where we learned to ballroom dance AND I WASN'T HALF BAD! Well, that's what SEAN said anyway. Um, maybe he was just being nice. Probably. ANYWAY! Yeah, so he's in that program and he has BEEN ON THE TODAY SHOW and on LAW AND ORDER! And he's MET Antonio Banderas and yeah. He's like nearly a celebrity!!! Well, as close to a celebrity that I'M ever going to know. So yeah. AND ALL of our coaches/teachers are like FREAKIN' BROADWAY GODS! Our music/blocking-for-one-musical-number teacher, Braden Toan (google him and see whatcha get ;) ) GRADUATED FROM JULLIARD and has spent the last ten years of his life working on a pretty famous Broadway show. Our acting coach (who picked the scene I read for to be in our performance at the end, and who told me it was phenomenal) , John Paul, or JP, has worked with Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, (best known currently for their leads in the BWP (broadwayplay) Wicked, and Idina was in Rent, the movie and the show, and Kristin recently starred in a movie with Robin Williams). Alee (the ballroom teacher/GOOD FRIENDS WITH KRISTIN CHENOWETH BECAUSE THEY WENT TO COLLEGE TOGETHER) has also been on all sorts of Broadway coolness!!! She's good friends with Kristin and they're totally in contact. She also told me I have a beautiful presence on stage, or that I'm very alive on stage or something I dunno, I coulda kissed her!!! Lastly, our dance instructor, Eric, is on ALL KINDS OF BROADWAY STUFF! His best-friend is currently starring in the first ever Broadway show, Tarzan. Eric, is what they call a swinger, which means he learns the choreography to EVERY dance and every different part of that dance in case anyone is sick. He can fill in for ANYONE in the chorus! I find that pretty amazing. Because lets say there's a line of people doing kicks and its like a fan, he need to be able to know when to go for each different person! They're all so amazing and talented. Wowsa. That camp was FUN but freakin intensive. We learned actual Broadway choreography to 'Ragtime' and to 'America' from 'West Side Story' it was flippin nutso. Well, holy crap my arm is gonna fall off. Sorry I typed so much. I love you guys! and I"ve missed you dearly!
